I don’t even like ponies and I think this is an atrocity.
The Dean of Psychology at my current campus (which I am leaving the warmth of for the U of A) has approved of my Summer Research Project unofficially, and would like to help me edit and publish the paper. This is a huge deal, and comes with the news that my other instructor who is a PhD undergrad would also like to help.
This comes on news that two Gender Studies PhD’s would like to see my work done as well. Meaning I basically have 4 PhD tier people interested and helping in some way on this project.
For the uninformed: a PhD is on average an 8 year degree, and 4 of them is basically 36 years of study and devotion, as well as specialization. I’m barely 2 years into my psychological studies, and all of that experience and qualification is backing my half-witted flailing at research. If there was a cooler time to be me right now, I’d be stunned.
Some day, moronic white males of which I have the mispleasure of associating with will understand that a job at McDonalds does not count as a real career. White Men get better Careers, and that’s the truth.
For fuck sake, why can’t they just look at the evidence? It’s out there and well reported by academia.
Oh Right, they’re uneducated conservatives in the state of Arizona.
